Ongoro Gotjari

The LARED Brahman stud, Commercial Cattle Farming (WILDSTOCK FARMING) and Game Ranch (MALAKAI SAFARIS) are some of the activities on the farm Ongoro Gotjari

Malakai Safaris

Malakai Safaris Operate From Ongoro GotjariAs Namibian Hunting Outfitters Malakai Safaris operates from the farm Ongoro Gotjari (which transalated from native Herero means “the horse with the broad chest”.)

Our 15 000 acre ranch offers impressive and varying hunting terrain with open plains, dense bush and rolling hills. A unique feature are large dams of water on this farm. This makes for a pleasant safari with lots to see while pursuing your prey. The dams are stocked with fish which attracts various bird species pelican, flamingo and fish eagle.

We hunt to ensure survival of various species and to balance populations. A trophy is available when certain animals have reached an age where they have bred and passed on their genetic potential. Our trophy hunting packages are therefore exclusive and limited based on current game populations and therefore trophies available per season will vary at Malakai and our base Ongoro Gotjari.

As it is our privilege and duty to preserve, we invite you to share this experience, and our passion with us. We hunt in ethically with the highest regard to fair chase.

  • City Tours / Windhoek Transfers
